When should I
not have my child's
face painted?
|
I am unable to
paint anyone if they have any open
cuts or sores on their face or any
infectious skin conditions such as
cold sores, chicken pox or
conjunctivitis, to name a few.
If your child
suffers with eczema or any other
non-infectious skin conditions the
paint should not affect them but if
in doubt they should not have their
face painted. Usually children get a
reaction to the soap or wipes used
to remove the Face Paint rather than
the paint itself. I am able to offer
a patch test at the start of a
party/event.
Whilst I can
paint children aged 2 and up,
children aged between 2 and 3 will
only be painted at my discretion.
All children must be able to confirm
that they want to be painted and
awake!
I will never
paint a child who does not want to
be painted, who is asleep, under 2
years of age or anywhere or with
anything that I deem to be
unsuitable or offensive.
